FREE FALL...
Over the past 4-5 months I have watched 8 clients overcome many obstacles! In the sport of bodybuilding everyone looks to the end result on that "one day" to decide how well someone did and how hard they worked...what I ask from each of you is for you to look at each client from the perspective of "where they started from" and what they achieved from that point!
People compete for many reasons... some to find something that is all their own to focus on, some for a goal to achieve, for others it is a way to overcome many years of negative feelings from an eating disorder or weight problem. Then there are the few with the right structure, genetics and will, to take things to the next level...and of those only a small percent actually make it to national ranking or pro level.
Sooo tonight I will give you some descriptive insights into what it really takes for these individuals and so many others to take that stage...
FREE FALL...
I have jumped out of an airplane twice in my lifetime. The experience I am about to describe will give you a look into what a competitor goes through as they prepare and take the competition stage...
After all the planning and anticipation... you will actually be going up thousands of miles in the air to look out and take that single step off the plane...the day finally arrives.
No discription or explanation from another person can prepare you for what lies ahead. Nor will they be able to tell you the way you personally will feel after such a life changing experience.
You can plan, anticipate with excitement, and fear but nothing prepares you for that moment..that single moment as the airplane climbs and you look out at the clear blue sky and come to the realization of what you are about to do. Everything you have and have not done flashes before your eyes...
Your heart pounding in your chest, your palms sweaty with anticipation,
your heart rate increases and your mouth so dry you can hardly speak,
as you approach the open side of the plane...
The wind so loud in your ears you can barely make out what anyone else is saying.
You approach the door and stand at the edge...legs trembling, heart pounding and
in an instant...a single instant...you let it all go....................
FREE FALL....
You are so exhilarated and free at the same moment...
The air hits your body and you feel more alive than you ever imagined...
There is no fear, there is no discomfort...
Your body movements flow with the direction of the wind.
You are fluid and confident...
There are no words for what this moment means to you
and you will never ever be the same again.
You will never look at things the same way again!
You have looked fear in the face and let go...
There is NOTHING you cannot do from this point forward!!
There are many parallels to taking the stage and the moment of free fall...
those who have taken the stage have experienced a lot of what I described above
and now I share with you the before and after pictures of the clients I worked with this season...
